Aubrie Carroll
Aubrie Carroll has been a member of the O.H. Platt High School Marching Band Staff since 2024, serving as a front ensemble tech with pit and sound. Aubrie is currently a music educator at Edison Middle School and serves as the Director of Orchestras there as well as Director of City Wide Orchestra in Meriden. She previously taught Front Ensemble at Francis T. Maloney High School for their Marching and Winter season (2022).
Aubrie is a violist who actively seeks out musical enrichment. Her marching career started in 2015 as a saxophonist for Francis T. Maloney High School. In her collegiate experience, she was a part of multiple Symphonic Orchestras and String Ensembles. She also explored electronic music composition and was an active member of the Crane Laptop Orchestra. She has experience playing in string quartets, musical pit ensembles, composing and more. Aubrie student taught in Middlebury/Southbury before moving on to long-term substitute at Lincoln Middle School, prior to her Edison position.
Aubrie is a graduate of Francis T. Maloney High School (Class of 2018) and a proud alumni of SUNY Potsdam, Crane School of Music. There she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music with a concentration in String Education. Aubrie is an active member of CMEA, serving as the Southern Region Middle School Orchestra Chair 2024-2025. As well as a member of CT-ASTA. Her main goal is to spread the joy that is music and to give back to the community that raised her.
